Lionel Chee, Chief Executive Officer

Lionel Chee is Chief Executive Officer for Aviva Financial Advisers, one of the largest financial advisory firms in Singapore.

Lionel is a veteran in the life insurance industry, with over 25 years of experience. Prior to his appointment as CEO for Aviva Financial Advisers, he was Group Business Director with Aviva Ltd, overseeing both the sales and operations teams. He has also led channel distribution and high net worth segments, and held the position of Chief Agency Officer in previous roles.

Lionel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the National University of Singapore.

Patrick Goh, Head of Operations, Finance & Client Assurance

Patrick Goh is the Head of Operations, Finance & Client Assurance for Aviva Financial Advisers and is responsible for directing the organisation's fiscal & operation functions.

He has close to 20 years of experience in finance and corporate governance in the insurance industry.

Prior to his current role, he was the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of another insurer.

Patrick graduated from The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom. He is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Ashley Tan, Risk & Compliance Director

Ashley leads the Risk & Compliance function in Aviva Asia and Aviva Financial Advisers where he is responsible for managing risk exposure, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving good market conduct practices.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and banking sectors, covering risk management, compliance, financial crime and internal audit.  Prior to joining Aviva Financial Advisers, he held Chief Risk Officer positions across Aviva Asia businesses, including Aviva Limited (Singapore), Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Ashley holds a professional qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK, and is a chartered accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. 

John Chee, Training & Competency, Head 

John Chee is the Head of Training & Competency at Aviva Financial Advisers. He has more than 20 years of experience working in sales management and training within the financial services sector. Aside from building training frameworks for different leadership levels, he has spearheaded initiatives to identify new leaders, boost staff retention and improve business performance levels.

Prior to his current role, John was the group training head at a leading bank in Singapore, where he spent more than a decade working with frontline leaders right up to the regional head of sales level.

His efforts in training and development and integrating technology into the learning culture have led to recognition at the industry level.  

Anne-Marie Lee, Products & Solutions, Head

Anne-Marie leads the Product & Solutions team at Aviva Financial Advisers Pte Ltd, and is responsible for ensuring the firm has a broad suite of products and services to meet clients’ every need. She oversees the Investment team, and provides support to advisers and leaders in the areas of product knowledge, solutions packaging and investment advice.  

A seasoned sales professional, she has spent more than 20 years honing her knowledge in insurance products while advising individuals on their financial planning and wealth management needs. 

She is a Life and Honour Roll member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), through which she gives back to the industry as a volunteer, mentor and speaker. Anne-Marie is also a qualified Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). 

Eric Ho, Business Development, Head

Eric leads the Business Development team in Aviva Financial Advisers and is responsible for driving the sales and performance of the organisation’s distribution channels.

He has close to 20 years of experience in managing agencies, advisory firms and direct sales distribution channels in the financial industry. Over the course of his career, he has spearheaded the direct channel of a general insurance company and was an assistant director with a life insurer.

Distribution management experience aside, he has led various business acquisition initiatives and projects, setting new benchmarks for productivity in various companies.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Human Resource Management and International Business Marketing from the University of Tasmania in Australia.
